Australian Cycling Conference
Adelaide 18 & 19 January 2010
Call for Papers and Call for Presentations.
The Australian Cycling Conference is set to continue next year with ACC 2010 and is once again being held at the University of Adelaide, North Terrace, Adelaide.
Dates for the expanded 2-day, single-stream gathering are Monday 18 January and Tuesday 19 January.
This conference provides an opportunity for academics, practitioners and advocates of cycling to present their cycling research and new cycling projects. It is an opportunity to network with people involved in cycling research, policy development, planning and project implementation. The conference aims to develop cycling research, knowledge and expertise.
This is a Call for Papers and a Call for Presentations
Call for Papers
The Call for Papers is directed to those who wish to have a peer-reviewed, published outlet for their contribution to cycling research. Papers of appropriate standard will be published after the conference. There is an expectation that authors of papers submitted for peer review will present their work at the conference in person.
Deadlines:
- Submission of abstract: Friday 7 August 2009
- Notification of acceptance: Friday 28 August 2009
- Submission of paper for the review and notification process: Friday 4 December 2009.
Abstracts should be sent to the Convenor of the Australian Cycling Conference.
Call for Presentations
The Call for Presentations is directed to those people who formulate policies, strategies and plans, who implement projects related to the bicycle and more generally those whose work does not require publication of papers with academic rigour. If you are interested in presenting your work at the Australian Cycling Conference please indicate so to the Convenor at the contact given below by Friday 25 September 2009, providing an abstract or overview for the proposed presentation.
