Australian Cycling Conference
The 2nd Annual Australian Cycling Conference

Adelaide 18 & 19 January 2010

The Australian Cycling Conference series will continue in 2010 and will once again be held at the University of Adelaide, on North Terrace, Adelaide.

The expanded 2-day, single-stream gathering will be held on Monday 18 January and Tuesday 19 January.

This conference provides an opportunity for academics, practitioners and advocates of cycling to present their cycling research and new cycling projects. It is an opportunity to network with people involved in cycling research, policy development, planning and project implementation. The conference aims to develop and disseminate cycling research, knowledge and expertise.

Latest news

Thursday 14 January

* Places at the pre-conference dinner are now full.  We suggest that delegates in Adelaide on Sunday afternoon soak in the atmosphere of the Tour Down Under Cancer Helpline Classic in the City's East End.  If you haven't already booked at a restaurant in Rundle Street, there are plenty of other options in the City as well as the inner-City and coastal suburbs.  Try the SA Tourism website for ideas.

* The program and abstracts have now been updated to their final form.

Tuesday 12 January

* We wish to announce three late changes to the conference program.  Mandy Treagus and Debra Mayrhofer are no longer able to present, but Warren Salomon (Sustainable Transport Consultants) will be presenting on Signing cycle networks - showing the way to more cycle trips.  We will be amending the program and abstracts information accordingly in the coming days.

* The approximate cost of the conference dinner on Monday night will be $22, excluding drinks.
